What you’ll be doing:

Product Insights & Analysis

  • Analyze product funnels, user journeys, cohorts, and retention patterns to uncover insights that influence roadmap decisions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify usability issues, product opportunities, and levers to improve conversions.
  • Develop frameworks to measure feature adoption, engagement, and performance.

Experimentation & A/B Testing

  • Partner with Product Managers to design experiments with clear hypotheses, metrics, and evaluation criteria.
  • Monitor experiment performance and provide data-driven recommendations to iterate quickly.

Data Infrastructure & Reporting

  • Build scalable dashboards and automated reports using SQL, Tableau/Looker/Data Studio.
  • Maintain high data hygiene by ensuring accurate event tracking, instrumentation, and schema consistency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Engineering to validate data accuracy and instrumentation requirements.
    • Support Business and Operations teams with insights to improve supply-demand balance, funnel efficiency, and operational bottlenecks.
    • Present insights to leadership in a crisp, structured, decision-oriented manner.

 

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

(Must-Haves)

  • Have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Product Analytics within a tech/product company.
  • Have strong SQL proficiency and experience with at least one product analytics tool (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, etc.).
  • Have the ability Ability to convert large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Have experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and statistical concepts (significance, confidence intervals, conversion metrics).
  • Have strong understanding of core product metrics - activation, engagement, retention, funnel analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

(Good-to-Have)

  • Have experience working on marketplace or B2B2C products.
  • Have knowledge of Python/R for advanced analytics.
  • Have familiarity with event tracking tools like Segment or GTM.
  • Have prior experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments.
