About Vahan

At Vahan, we’re helping 300M+ blue-collar workers in India find jobs. Over time, we want to
become the center of all money and financial needs for blue-collar workers and will thus expand
to use cases in financial services and upskilling. We’re a Y Combinator company that is backed by

Key Requirements:

  • Achieve month-over-month (MoM) growth in the number of channel partners onboarded to Vahan.

  • Generate high-quality leads for business development.

  • Ensure MoM growth in infrastructure addition in terms of tele-caller seats.

  • Drive first-month placements of newly acquired channel partners.

  • Manage and reduce first-month churn of newly acquired channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Add high-intent, high-quality channel partners to Vahan every month.

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand Vahan's partner network.

Lead Generation:

  • Generate high-quality leads through various channels and ensure a steady pipeline of potential partners.

Relationship Management:

  • Utilize strong relationship management skills to convert leads into active channel partners.

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with newly onboarded partners to ensure long-term collaboration.

Churn Management:

  • Own and manage churn for newly acquired partners within the first month.

  • Implement strategies to retain newly acquired partners and reduce churn rates.

Driving Placements:

  • Drive first-month placements with newly acquired channel partners.

  • Ensure newly onboarded partners meet their placement targets in the initial month.

Infrastructure Addition:

  • Align and add the minimum required tele-caller seats to support Vahan's hiring needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure infrastructure growth aligns with business objectives.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Expertise in quality lead generation, both on and off the ground.

  • Basic analytical and technical aptitude.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Industry/Background:

  • Experience in BDM supply, ground sales, or B2B sales.

  • Previous roles in companies with an offline channel such as Swiggy, Blinkit, Zomato, OYO, Pristyn Care, etc.

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience (cash + bonus + equity)
