What You Will Be Doing:

  • Analyze financial performance metrics on a regular basis and provide insights into trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Implement continuous improvements in financial planning processes to adapt to the evolving needs of the business and industry.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, including tax requirements, reporting standards, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Manage cash flow effectively by forecasting future cash needs, monitoring liquidity levels, and implementing cash conservation measures when necessary.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, operations, growth, and IT to optimize financial processes and systems across the organization.

  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate efficient and accurate audits, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members, fostering their growth and development within the department.

  • Support acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and other significant transactions by evaluating their financial impact and facilitating smooth integration into the existing financial infrastructure.

  • Work closely with the Head of finance to develop long-term financial strategies aimed at sustaining and growing the organization.

You Will Thrive in This Role If You:

  • CA qualification is mandatory.

  • Big 4/5 experience for 2 years plus is mandatory.

  • Proven experience of 3-4 years plus in a finance role is mandatory.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis is a plus.

  • Experience in startups is a plus.
