About the role:
The Channel Distribution/Growth Head will be responsible for leading and managing the entire distribution network of the company in India. This role involves strategic planning, channel management, logistics optimization, and team leadership to ensure efficient product delivery and market penetration across various regions.
What you'll be doing:

Distribution Strategy:

Develop and implement a strong distribution strategy.

Expand market reach by evaluating new channels and opportunities.

Optimize channels by analyzing market trends, competition, and customer preferences.

Drive category diversification.

Channel Management:
-
Negotiate agreements and set performance targets
-
Ensure ROI, productivity and compliance
-
Resolve channel conflicts
-
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
-
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to achieve business outcomes

Manage CAC and drive growth
-
Set up efficient processes and workflows
-
Set performance goals and conduct performance reviews
-
Sales Support:
-
Collaborate with sales to achieve targets.

Provide updates on product availability and market trends.

Support sales promotions and marketing initiatives..

Performance Monitoring:
-
Track KPIs related to distribution.

Analyze data and implement improvements.

Prepare reports on distribution performance.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
-
Have a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
-
Have 10+ years of experience in FMCG/FMCD/Telecom distribution management, with at least 5 years in a Middle management to Senior Management role.

Have a strong understanding of the Indian distribution channels, and Channel operations

Have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful distribution strategies.

Have excellent communication, Planning & negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
