What You Will Be Doing:

• Architecting and developing scalable React Native applications with optimized bridge utilization between native modules and the JavaScript runtime.

• Implementing performant UI components using React Native APIs, Fabric, and TurboModules while ensuring thread-safe asynchronous state management.

• Integrating REST APIs with secure token handling, caching strategies, and request cancellation mechanisms.

• Ensuring pixel-perfect UI by collaborating with design teams, managing responsive layouts across devices, and reducing over-rendering through memoization, virtualization, and reconciliation optimizations.

• Leveraging TypeScript for strong typing, implementing Redux/MobX/Recoil for predictable state management, and integrating CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and OTA updates.

• Profiling memory and performance bottlenecks using Flipper, Hermes, and native profilers to minimize JS thread blocking and improve frame rates.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with backend engineers to define API contracts and with product teams to iterate rapidly on features.
  
  

You Will Thrive in This Role If You:

• Have strong knowledge of React Native internals (bridge, layout engine, threading model) and can reason about performance trade-offs.

• Enjoy working in a lean startup environment where ambiguity, rapid prototyping, and iterative shipping are the norm.

• Can independently debug complex issues spanning across JavaScript, native Android/iOS layers, and third-party SDK integrations.

• Believe in writing clean, testable code and are comfortable with Jest/Detox or similar frameworks for end-to-end testing.

• Stay updated with React Native ecosystem changes (New Architecture, Fabric, JSI, TurboModules) and proactively adopt best practices.

• Value ownership, speed, and adaptability over rigid processes.
  
  

Nice to Have / Bonus Skills

• Experience with advanced animations (Reanimated, Lottie, Gesture Handler).

• Exposure to native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) for writing custom modules.

• Familiarity with app distribution workflows (App Store, Play Store, TestFlight, internal app distribution).

• Knowledge of mobile analytics, push notifications, and deep linking.

• Experience with Firebase, Sentry, or other monitoring/analytics tools.

• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Firebase) for mobile integrations.

• Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product development environment.
